From News Center (Text/ Du Xin, School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering; Photo/ Archive)Recently, the General Office of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and the General Office of the Ministry of Finance issued a notice officially designating 152 units as the 2025 National-level Skill Master Studios project units. Among them, the "Chen Xianxin Skill Master Studio," led by Mr.Chen Xianxin, an outstanding graduate of the Class of 2005 majoring in Mold Manufacturing Technology from our university's School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, was prominently listed. This achievement marks a highly prestigious national-level honor. It is another major breakthrough achieved by our outstanding graduates in the field of skills, adding new luster to the university.

Since graduating from Liuzhou Polytechnic University (LZPU) in 2005 with a major in Mold Manufacturing Technology, Mr. Chen Xianxin has remained rooted in the front line of new energy vehicle manufacturing. Adhering to craftsmanship and dedicating himself to meticulous work, he has completed a remarkable transformation from an ordinary technician to a national-level skilled leader through twenty years of persistence and innovation. Now he is not only the core technical backbone of Guangxi Automobile Group and a skill master enjoying the special government allowance of the State Council but has also been honored with significant awards such as "Guangxi Craftsman" and "Model Worker of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region." With his strength, heinterprets the profound meaning of "achieving success through skills and serving the country with craftsmanship."

Deeply engaged in the industry for two decades, Mr. Chen Xianxin has consistently tackled technical challenges and driven innovative breakthroughs with a relentless pursuit of perfection. To date, hehas obtained22 national patents and has led or participated in resolving more than 90 technicalchallenges.He has also made technological breakthroughs and successfully resolved key bottlenecks in the trial production and manufacturing of new energy vehicles, making outstanding contributions to reducing production costs, improving production efficiency, and enhancing the core competitiveness for his enterprise, with nearly 100 million yuan of economic benefits being created. Mr. Chen Xianxin has become arole model for industrial workers in the new energy vehicle sector, not only in the Guangxi region but across the entire country.

Chen Xianxin Skill Master Studio has made a leapfrog upgradefrom the autonomous region level to the national level. It is not only a high recognition of his dedication to craftsmanship and innovative achievements but also a vivid demonstration of the quality of talent cultivation and social service capability of our university.

As of now,seven of our graduates have become national-level skill masters. Proudly building on this legacy, the university will continue to deepen the integration of industry and education, cultivate students with craftsmanship, and inspire more students to follow the example of these outstanding alumni by pursuing skill development and serving the country with their expertise, contributingto the high-quality development of local industries.
