From News Center (Text and Photo by Tang Yun, Faculty Affairs Department (Human Resources Office) of the CPC LZPU Committee) Recently, the Department of Education of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region announced its decision to commend the 2026 Advanced Educators in Teaching and Student Development. Four faculty members from Liuzhou Polytechnic University (LZPU) received honors. Que Yibin from the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering was named a Guangxi Famous Teacher; Li Bei from the School of Automotive Engineering and Qiu Xiaowei from the School of Marxism were named Guangxi Outstanding Teachers; and Wei Linhua, Director of the International Exchange Department (Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs Office), was named a Guangxi Outstanding Educator.
The simultaneous recognition of these four teachers with autonomous region-level honors in teaching and student development is both a vivid testament to their dedication to education and talent cultivation, and an important achievement of the university’s efforts to strengthen faculty development and fulfill the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education. Going forward, LZPU will vigorously promote the spirit of educators, give full play to the exemplary role of outstanding role models, and encourage faculty and staff to follow their example. The university will remain committed to its original mission of educating people for the Party and nurturing talent for the country, while strengthening teachers’ professional ethics, enhancing their teaching capabilities, and advancing faculty development and education work to a new level.
