From News Center (Text and Photo by Cheng Zhiyuan and Zhang Kexing, School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering) Recently, the sixth batch of the national joint development initiative for counselor studios was successfully held in Guiyang. The “Pomegranate Seeds” Counselor Studio and the “Glimmering Stars” Class Development Studio of Liuzhou Polytechnic University (LZPU) were selected as participating units in the sixth batch of national jointly developed counselor studios. The studio leaders attended the plaque presentation ceremony.
The initiative brought together a group of counselor-led education platforms with distinctive features and strong achievements. It aims to open up channels for collaborative education across regions, institutions, and categories, while promoting the sharing of educational resources, the joint development of distinctive brands, and the co-creation of practical outcomes.
The event featured four sections: expert presentations, lightning talks, keynote reports, and parallel forums. It focused on key education-related topics, including AI-enabled ideological and political education, studio development, counselor research, and academic ethos building. Studio members engaged in active exchanges and shared innovative ideas. They also visited Guizhou Medical University and Guizhou Light Industry Polytechnic University for thematic study on the development of “one-stop” student communities in colleges and universities.
Starting from this new milestone, the “Pomegranate Seeds” Counselor Studio and the “Glimmering Stars” Class Development Studio will take this opportunity to deepen digital and intelligent empowerment, further develop their education brands, strengthen inter-university collaboration, and continue exploring innovative approaches to ideological and political education. With more practical measures, they will better support students’ growth and strive to write a new chapter in ideological and political education in colleges and universities in the digital-intelligence era.
